What a Difference Two Years Makes!!

Daniel in 2009 and in 2011

Chandler in 2009 and in 2011

Savannah in 2009 and in 2011
I can't believe it has been 2 years since I last blogged. I guess that is not a bad thing, it means we are a healthy, active family. I was looking at the pictures from my last blog and couldn't believe the changes that have happened in my kids. I don't notice it on a day to day basis. Yes, I have noticed that I am no longer taller than two of my kids. I have noticed that I have three grown men living in my house instead of one. (Grown men in size if not maturity quite yet!! :) ) But to actually put the pictures side by side.....WHAT A DIFFERENCE TWO YEARS MAKE!!
Mom's of young children...enjoy your time!! It goes by so fast!!

Our summer has been busy! But there have been two main activities this summer for us. First is SOFTBALL!! The boys are playing on the FBC team. They play at least two times a week and it will continue until school starts. Savannah played with the Dalhart Youth League. She became a great pitcher this year. I love all sports!! But I especially love getting to watch my kids play!
Tired, but happy, after a 3 base hit!
Daniel loves to play right field!
Chandler got to start playing after many injuries
cut our team.
Savannah was the starting pitcher in her
All-Star game.

Look at that stance!!! Love it!
Savannah's team got first place overall!!

Her brothers were proud!!

The second thing our summer has been full of is...SWIMMING!! Chandler and Savannah have gone almost every day. We also took one day and went to Dumas to their pool. It is lots of fun!

Poor Savannah has no idea what is coming!!
What has he got in mind???

And then he just leaves!!!

I would love to know what they talk about
when I am not in hearing range.....ok, maybe
not!! :)

I am a blessed woman. I have a wonderful husband and three great kids. I am privileged to be able to stay home and teach my boys here. My daughter goes to a Christian Academy. I love my life and my family makes me proud and fills my life with laughter on a daily basis. I have been reading blogs for a while now and I hope to share the fun and trials that we go through with all of you as you have shared with me.
